THE QUIET TRUTH
You’ve been faithful.
You know how to pray.
You know the language.
You know how to show up.
But lately…Something feels off.
God feels quieter
Your prayers feel rehearsed.
And the version of faith that used to hold it together… doesn’t quite hold the same way anymore.
You haven’t walked away.
But you can’t keep pretending either.
That's the polite way of saying it...
When it came to my designated meeting spot, sometimes it felt like God was ghosting me.
WHAT'S GOING ON?
No one told you this part.
The part where faith gets complicated.
The part where you start asking the kind of questions your old answers can’t hold.
So you do what you’ve always done…
You hold it down.
You stay grateful.
You push through.
But underneath…the questions keep brewing..."Where is God in this part of my story?"
Therapy asks: "What's wrong and how do we solve it?"
Church often tells you, "This is what you say or do!"
Spiritual Direction asks, "Where is God in THIS...and what is your soul trying to say?"

You stop performing your faith

You recognize God in places you thought He was absent
You feel less pressure to “get it right.”
You begin to trust your story (your story with God and God in your story) instead of trying to edit "everything."
